On Nov. 1st, we saw a soccer game: Waring School vs a visiting team.
There was a lot of pressure. At the end of the game, the score was 2-2. The game was tied so there were two additional 5-minute half-times. Nobody scored, so there were penalties. They all scored their penalties so the game was tied again and then, the Waring School goalkeeper stopped the last goal of the opposing team. Everybody ran on the field, Waring School won!
Then, on Nov. 7th, it was our turn to play soccer.
It was USA vs France, but in reality, French and American students were mixed together. The game lasted 30 minutes with one penalty. The strikers of the USA were awesome (Gleb and Pierre Antoine), Armand tackled a guy from the French team. The Americans were way better than us (unfortunately). We played our lives. From the outside we looked like dogs running after a ball. For someone who has never played soccer it was exhausting but also very exciting. The entire school was in the bleachers (it was just grass).
Victor scored a penalty for France and P.A scored two goals for the USA. After the game we took a group photo, the score was 3-1 for the USA team! Congratulations and well done France!
